We have worked with Budget since 1987 (wow, that’s 30 years!!!). (With a brief span of a year or so when they went to another agency.) They were one of our first accounts and over that 30 years we have been involved in practically every aspect of their business, including Television, Radio, Print, On-line, Youtube. We designed and produced their web sites, did franchise videos, and a whole re-branding exercise to emphasis Auto Repair over and above Brakes and Mufflers. Re-designed their logo, and launched “The Guys Who Know Cars” campaign in support of their new position.
Our media strategy for them has primarily focused on sports programming, which includes a package with the Canucks that includes rink boards and promotional packages at phenomenal value. We also have been engineering several contests for VIP experiences with the Canucks and BC Lions where we send lucky winners (in a limousine) as VIPs to a game where they get to go behind the scenes, dinner, jerseys etc. The contests have tied in well with their brand and social presence, and the response has been great.
We also manage Budget’s social media and digital assets as well as run digital campaigns on Youtube and Facebook where we’re able to target markets in the surrounding areas of the shops.
They have succeeded over a long period of time where many of their competitors have stumbled and even disappeared. It has been a great client, and it has been a real pleasure to be part of their success.
